All stripping is done by hand.  This ensures the furniture does not suffer any unnecessary "swelling".  Raw furniture is like a sponge.  

The amount of stripper used will have an effect on the wood, often times raising the grain.

Rocky Mountain Refinishing and Antiques offers a guarantee for life on all pieces of furniture that are re-glued.  There are no quick ways to re-glue a chair. The entire chair needs to be carefully taken apart. We make sure every joint is completely free of any existing "old glue."

We use a two part epoxy.  When mixed, it undergoes a chemical reaction to form a cross-linked bond of tremendous strength.
